Great news

From the checkers:

Word from training camp this morning is that Brett Sutter will be named team captain and Nicolas Blanchard and Chris Durno the alternates.

I would have liked for Terry to have an “A” on his sweater. Happy to have Nash back and think he would also be good but I expect he will see some time up in the big club. Go Checkers!!!!!

Bad news- I hear Mike McKenzie is being sent down to Florida. He is great to the fans, hope he gets called back up to Charlotte.

EDIT: Shugg was sent down too.
